This webcasting system a schematic is from the First Presbyterian Church in Pampa, Texas.  The webcast is controlled from a tiny room behind the organ.  The folk controlling the webcast have no extra ordinary skills and can be trained in a matter of minutes. I broke this schematic down into 3 levels of complexity so as not to overwhelm. Click on the radio buttons below to see how the system can grow.

Notes:
Lens focus is unnecessary with additional cameras. Easier to operate and cheaper without this control.
** Unnecessary but recommended because speaker no longer has to worry about switching himself on and off.
*** Unnecessary if sound and webcast are in the same area.

1. Once the service has started, only the 'Control Panel' is used by the lay operator.
2. Pan/Tilt control is preset at full speed. Lever flicking gives sufficient fine control.
3. Electronic camera switch stops image tearing.
4. 1 cat5 cable pair is used per camera, allowing upgrade from composite to component video.
5. Distribution amplifier is component video compatible, like Radio Shack 15-130.
